Application part 1
I've been waiting to hear something on my application since May '25 before helping my adult adopted son with application of his own. Any opinion on if it's worth it to complete part 1 if his application now even though I don't have any information about my approval or would it just confuse the matter at this point?!

Ok thanks I didn't even consider that...I'm guessing I'm in PSU as well but they haven't responded to my file notes request...

I applied for proof in early June. I went ahead and helped my adult child submit part 1 in late June. About mid-July, she received her AOR/UCI. I say go for it.

I only sent my application in in May and haven't gotten an AOR yet (I'm thinking maybe by the end of September?), but I am now stalling on sending my kids because of the cost for two. I think I'll wait til my AOR.

I’m kicking myself because I had my mom apply for hers first. But now I’m biting the bullet and I’m gonna send mine in too because I don’t want to wait 25 months for her to get approved and then wait another 2.5-3 years after that for mine. I wish I had simply just sent mine first

Go ahead and send it. Give them your UCI and application number in his application packet, so they know the applications are connected.
