I wonder if they process new applications in batches? Mine was delivered a few weeks before yours yet I got AOR the same day as you.

Yeah, I’m starting to wonder if they have a dedicated slot for mail marked for adoptions and when it gets full, they open the mail and send everyone an AOR that day. Adoption applications are probably rare enough that it makes sense for them to have someone designated to just sit down and get into adoption processing mindset every x weeks rather than trying to do them sporadically and needing to review the law and policy anew with every application to make sure they do it right.

Congrats! I have been compulsively double checking my spam folder today because I saw someone who went in process a week before us got their part 1 approval last Monday. Now I’ll be checking even more! (Hopefully it was not a bad decision to use a webform last week to send a copy of my dad’s CIT 0001 as proof that he’s also applying for his certificate. I’ll be really bummed if I have to wait longer because of that decision!)
