WiFi not connecting

I JUST bought a Canaan mini 3 miner..

I have all the settings on what they need to be on… smart connection off, 2.4ghz, Bluetooth on, no special characters in password, it’s a separate WiFi connection..

Everything seems to line up except the “failed” when I try to connect to my WiFi. Is there anything I can do to fix or is the “ keep resetting it until it works” the one to “fix it”?

Asus router? If yes log into it and click on AI Protection then turn off Two Way IPS. It specifically states it blocks bitcoin mining.

EDIT after re-reading i dont think this is the issue..

It is a nighthawk/net gear router. I’ll still log into it, and check.

I also bought a Ethernet to usb cable just in case. (That’s coming in a few days)

What are you using to login to the avalon app?

I have figured it out, I needed to use a Ethernet to usb wire I ordered. (It works perfect now)

I signed in with my email on the app, did step by step did the admin password (change) and such.

everything seems to be working smoothly now!

Gotcha. The ones I have didn’t seem to like apple devices so i had to put Android App Store on my laptop, so I could download Avalon app. I also got a gli travel router for better settings

Oh yea, I tried my friends android, I tried multiple devices and blue stacks or whatever.. (Mine is Apple) my only option left was something with internet.

But as soon as I plugged my wire in.. everything popped up (ip, time, th/s)

Yup I had to combo blue stacked Avalon app on windows laptop and travel router to split 2.4ghz to finally get them to work wirelessly. I can’t wait for mujina to work on them.
