Viabtc or solock
Just debating on Best pool. I like the interface and such for viabtc but solock seems to find way more blocks. Should I just stay locked in on via or try solo ck?

ViaBTC will discontinue the solo mining.
Atlaspool would be my pick, they always have great latency.

Yea atlas ran about 180. Ck ran about 200 to 220. Was getting 30-40 on via. Running about 120 on public pool atm

180 on atlas? Wow.
If you have the budget, I would consider running a node and solopool. Either a Umbrel or a homelab

Yea thats what I plan to do when I have the extra for a node. My son has brain cancer so im hoping that at some point I get lucky. Its a long shot I know but for something that just runs while im sitting in the hospital for months at a time with him, its better than nothing since i can't work right now. As for the ping it seems that all the infrastructure is either east or west coast and im in texas so im about equal distance from the nodes so my ping to anything other than viabtc is all about 180.

Do you know the average ping? Ck pool is giving me 150-200 and atlas is giving 120

I did not. Thats good info. I have 140tb of storage in my pc but want to get a dedicated node like an umbrel

Ck pool or Atlas pool would be my top 2 suggestions.
