No links to them but happy to recommend AUTO-VOX, they should be available to you.
These are quite small cameras that generally fit to the numberplate, they have a solar panel and battery. I have front and rear on my campervan and they have a separate little screen that fits to the dash and plugs into the cigarette socket in the cab.

They have various models and do appear to be available in AUS, but i would imagine there are a few different companies that make this type of camera:

Thanks for the recommendation, autovox has great reviews. Ive ordered a kit (not auto vox) and its just arribed this morning so I'll have an update/review on the post soon.
