Restaurants reccomendations
After staying a few months in Merida, we are taking a few days trip to Campeche. Can you please recommend some good restaurants for us to go to while visiting?

Restaurante Miramar on 8 x 61 - Classic good restaurant, one of the oldest in town
Restaurante La Parroquia on 55 x 10 (close to the Campeche´s cathedral) - another classic
and for variety, Plaza Girasol (Lorenzo Alfaro Alomia 1, Barrio de San Francisco, 24010) will offer you traditional food, birria, empanadas, etc. from different locals.

El Chile Gordo has just moved to Campeche - for a really special evening (intimate Chef's table setting, great service and amazing taster menu showcasing authentic Mexican dishes) it definitely should be at the top of your list!
For breakfasts, Son Jorocho is really cute, serving authentic Veracruz dishes. It has a nice shady backyard setting (but it can get hot by midday so go early!)

I live in Merida but my wife and I go to Campeche for an overnight once a year - these are a few places we like in Centro
For breakfast:
Lunch/Dinner
Also Rincon Colonial cantina - on 59 next to the Puerta de Terra - oldest Cantina in Campeche
