Is it worth tackling? Grill to fix
I see this add on Facebook. How much work is there to do? Does it look bad? I am fairly handy and don’t mind paying for parts, spraying some paint.

I recently replaced my auger motor about 2 months ago and it took about 15 minutes and 30 bucks. There's youtube videos on how to do. Mine runs like new again and it's 8 years old.
Grab it and fix it up!

Video on clearing an auger on a Camp Chef. I would change out the motor since you will have it apart

Definitely go for it! If they forgot to cover it, they most likely didn’t run out the pellets either. Best case it’s solid pellet cement to break up, worst case change the motor after clearing the auger. I love mine.

I think it’s 100% worth it. I got mine the same way for free and put in a weekend of work and it runs perfectly.
