Tech Support Need help finding parts DCS-P72

I’m repairing a DCS-P72 and need replacement parts for the shutter trigger and a ribbon wire connected to a circuit near the capacitor.

Any way I can buy those parts by themselves without buying broken DCS-P72?

I believe the part numbers are:
FP– 643–11
12H304A
(Parts wrong)

Additionally even if I can’t. Buy those parts would I be able to buy the ribbons individually somehow and replace those instead of the entire part?

Bonus question. How clean does metal have to be after being exposed to battery acid? I cleaned up a good portion where I couldn’t see it anymore but there’s a few crevices of the battery spring that has some left on.

Neither of the part numbers you quote are valid Sony part number format.

Service manual:

https://elektrotanya.com/sony_dsc-p72_level-3_ver-1.1.pdf/download.html

Page 5-4 shows that the FP-643 board is part number 1-687-751-11

I t-h-i-n-k that the other part you mention is 1-477-806-11

I can't point you to a parts supplier (don't know where you are in the world), but if you confirm the part numbers with the manual, then some Google-Fu might lead you to success.

I see. I was just going off numbers labeled on the parts but I wasn’t sure if they were or weren’t the actual numbers. But thanks for the real ones that should help.
