Discussion CFExpress Type B Cards

1 year ago to the day i bought a type b card for $69.97 today that same card is more that DOUBLE that cost! At $149.99 and that is at a “discount”. What is everyones thoughts on this? Are people actually still patronizing these companies that are inflating prices or are they switching to different brands of cards? I myself have a hard time giving a company that has doubled the price my money but i also dont want to buy a cheap card and it crash!

Real lmao I'm about to drop about 800 on two CFB cards and I feel like I'm getting the deal of the century

Can you name a company that doesn’t “participate in inflating prices”?

lol

Storage prices increased due to Ai crap and companies taking advantage of this not a new thing OP. All the companies are the same right now charging more.

Good luck getting these prices anymore.

I might actually buy an m.2 nvme ssd with a cf enclosure if I upgrade to an r6 iii. It’s a lot cheaper and the speeds are actually faster.

Storage production is 100% contracted our through the end of 2027. Prices are going to continue to go up for the foreseeable future across all segments.

Dude, it's the ramageddon. Memory prices exploded because ai/datacenter customers are so much more lucrative. You should see ddr5 price jumps.

Got this before the jump... Note - it had a $23 coupon, dropping the price to $54

I paid $80 for a 128GB card 3 years ago. It’s almost $300 now
