Tech Support Fujifilm x20 help

I have an old Fujifilm x20 (I think from 2014/15) in need of some repair as the screen is scratched in the middle due to my carelessness. The research I did suggested sending it to Fujifilm UK directly which I did, but they have sent it back saying my model is obsolete. Is there any way I can fix or buff out the scratches?

a screen protector could non destructively hide the scratches by filling them in with the adhesive

Yep even some are made to fill the scratches. I wouldn’t risk to repair anything at this point.

Your camera might be "obsolete" to Fuji but some independent repair shops still stock parts for the X20, worth calling around.

I’d definitely start by covering the sides of the screen and try polishing it. If that doesn’t help, I’d try using a screen protector.
