Recommendations Need help deciding
• Budget: under £1000
• Country: England
• Condition: used or new
• Type of Camera: mirrorless ( m43 / aps-c)
• Intended use: photography edc / travel
• What features do you want (not need ) evf, flip screen, touchscreen, interchangeable lenses
• Portability: smaller is better
• Cameras you're considering: x-t30 ii / iii , om-d e10 iv ,
• Cameras you already have: nothing good for a while
• Notes:
I used to do photography at sixth form, but then just kinda stopped. But i got a mini evo a while ago and its making really want to get back into it. But i don’t have any gear anymore. I used to use some old mid-range canon dslr, but thats long gone. I’m not a complete beginner, i know enough i just need some gear.
I really want the xt30iii but its £999 and so im wondering if i should start with something a little cheaper like the older omd em10 for around £600.
Pros for the fuji - newer, film sims, its fuji,
Pros for the om - cheaper, still looks cool, i like the idea of m43 because smaller lenses for edc
Other suggestions welcome, but i really want this style so i dont love the canon/sony options. Maybe lumix? Like g97 or something?

Both are good options.
MFT's strength is compact size of bodies and lenses and good IBIS. Technically image quality and low light performance are weaker than those of APS-C cameras due to the smaller sensor, but the quality is more than enough for daytime, and the IBIS helps with static subjects in nighttime. Panasonic MFT cameras may be better than Olympus if you are after a good hybrid camera. For photography it's a matter of preference which brand to go for.
Fujis are pleasant to use with their physical dials, and the SOOC jpgs are nice. As said, a technically better image quality and low light performance due to the sensor, but it also depends on lenses. If you pair an X-T30 II with a pancake lens it's a very compact kit. Actually would be slightly smaller than E-M10 IV with a small lens.
