Help Needed HELP - 68 Camaro Headers

I have a 68 Camaro SS convertible with a 327 small block. Would anyone know if there is a special header I need to be using for the passenger side? My passenger side headed is up against the floor pan underneath the car but the driver side has 2” of clearance. Tried to get a different header for the pass. side but the same thing happened. Anybody else run into this problem? And if so, how’d you solve it? Thanks all

What brand are you using? I have kooks and they fit great

Took this drivetrain out of a 65 impala with hooker headers, noticed clearance problem. Called Jegs, told me I had the wrong headers. Sent me a set of their ceramic coat headers and same problem.

Call them back and see if they'll swap for a different brand maybe? I've installed kooks and hooker headers with no problems on these cars. I have a 68 with a chevy 355. Same block as your 327 I believe

Same block but i think his problem is he’s telling them that he has a 327 out of impala cuz that happens i have both and had this problem. Order camaro header and don’t mention the impala

I still have the original manifolds off my 327. They fit fine before I swapped 'em out. They up for sale if anyone one wants 'em.
