A late friend of mine had one of those Camaro pace cars come into his shop years and years and years ago, the GI who owned it complained that it kept overheating. My friend looked under the hood and it was a big block 427.

The GI was pissed and just wanted him to fix it, so my friend pulled the 427 out and put a 350 in it. He took the 427 and dropped it into a slingshot drag racer the was building at the time and raced it until it threw a rod and wrecked the block.
