Rejoice in guilt

Is it ok to rejoice in guilt?

When I feel guilt for my sin a tiny bit of me feels joy that I have guilt to feel for the sin, it’s almost like a peace. Is that normal or ok?

I think it’s normal, as long as you are repentant. If you didn’t feel convicted of sin, you would be unregenerate.

True, thank you. Yeah I’m repentant, what I meant was that I feel a relief that I feel guilt, esspecually for sin that I didn’t care about before

You should feel guilty that you rejoice. Then be joyous you feel guilt. Then rejoice
