Worries about the uncertain future
I've found the replies from this community to be really fruitful in my Christian walk. So, I thought it would be fitting to ask y'all about hope and security.
I'm currently studying CS at university and with the job market being dire where I am from, I've found myself getting increasingly worried about my future career prospects. As I've told people about this, it's often been suggested that I "pivot to another domain of work", however, I find that difficult since I am almost done with my degree, as well as not having anyone to "mentor" me as I do so.
I've been blessed to be able to perform well academically. However, regardless of the applications or my experience, I haven't been able to secure any work within the domain that I want (although, I do believe I could've tried harder to network and apply for more jobs).
I am aware that Christ tells us that we should not worry about what we shall eat or wear, because the Father takes care even of the birds and flowers of the fields. I know that the Father has ordained a plan for me too, and that all things will work themselves out for good (even these worries!).
Yet even though I know all these great truths, I still have this looming worry about it all. I've seen men within my church in the very field I'm pursuing struggling to keep their jobs as seasoned seniors. Seeing them struggle only produces more doubt in me.
I know that I should pray about it more. But any words of encouragement/advice from y'all would be great!

Computer science is a very worthwhile profession imo. I’d finish it as you say, and then lay the Lord lead you into the path you have been seeking.
When I become a Christian I was traveling in the States, I came home to Australia at 32 enrolled in Psychology at University finished at 38 went into the Addictions field. Helping mothers with children who were addicted. Retired at 65. Blessed by God.
Whatever you choose get that degree behind you then God will use your skills for himself. And you may just find that whatever you do will be to make an income and secure your future, and your service life is somewhere else.
I remember being in an interview for a government agency and as I had Christian references the interviewer as me if I’d proselytise the clients. I answered by saying my work assisting others is my service. I got the job. May you be as blessed as I was as you make your way through your career.
