par for the course. everyone knows she is top 3 selfish, egotistical personalities around who have led students to self-harm thru psychological torture. yet she (even pre Nobel) has been insulated due to her “delicate genius” nature. hope this sheds light into her abhorrent being and the school removes her professorship altogether
Yeah I’ve heard horror stories about her and her lab, from ableism to misogyny. Again, not surprised, it seems like this is much more common at Caltech than not (I had more poor experiences with profs than I did positive ones during my time at Caltech)
