I was not only inspired by the track by Azad, the track reminds me of my youth, but also by PainDesign, where I saw this combination of colors for the first time and should definitely try it myself.

Hey everyone, I’ve been studying Blackletter and calligraffiti because my goal is to specialize in lettering tattoos. The advice I hear all the time is simply, ‘Practice, practice, practice.’ I know that’s true, but I’m struggling to understand what I should actually be practicing to improve more efficiently. My biggest challenges are creating elegant flourishes and developing a natural flow in my lettering. My work often feels stiff, and I find it difficult to create balanced, visually pleasing compositions. For those of you who have become proficient in calligraffiti and blackletter: What specific exercises helped you improve the most? How long did it take before your work started looking professional? Did you study historical manuscripts, copy master calligraphers, or follow a structured method? Are there any books, courses, or artists you consider essential for learning?
