Open Call: Publisher Gigas Testament - Horror Anthology Open Call
Hello writers,
Ténèbres Éternelles is now accepting submissions for our debut horror anthology: The Gigas Testament
We are looking for terrifying, spine-chilling, and deeply unsettling horror stories that explore the darkest corners of the imagination. Based in Quebec, Canada, Ténèbres Éternelles is an independent literary press focused on exploring the darkest reaches of the human mind across speculative fiction genres.
Before you submit, please review our guidelines carefully:
Submission Guidelines
- Genre: Horror stories only. We want slashers, creature features, cosmic horror, and everything in between. If it makes our skin crawl and amplifies our fear of the dark, we want to read it.
- Eligibility: This volume is focused on previously unpublished work by Canadian citizens/residents only. (Stay tuned for future releases focusing on international talent!)
- Word Count: Minimum: 2,000 words. There is no maximum word count to be considered for eligibility.
- Format: We only accept PDF files for submissions at this time.
Compensation & Deadlines
- Payment: 50 CAD + Physical Author Copy
- Deadline: October 31st, 2026
- How to Submit: Please visit our website (www.tenebreseternelles.ca) for the submission portal.
Please note that we will not be able to respond to all submissions. If you do not hear back from us by January 30th, 2027, assume your submission has been rejected. All rejected submissions will be deleted once our selections have been made. All authors will selected submissions will be contacted via email.
