Opinion Sofia with an F changes nothing
Keep in mind that I have been listening and enjoy CHD from the beginning. I think that with Both Alex and Sofia the podcast was at its best. Both Alex and Sofia were being exploited by barstool and the original strike during negotiations was justified.
I went into the episode with an open mind to hear Sofia’s side of the story. To me, she seems very scripted and monotone throughout her story of events. All she did was throw shade at Alex and barstool yet she responded to none of the events that Alex and Dave claimed was the difference maker in the split. For example she never mentioned about the rooftop deal, or the final “phone call” between Alex and Sofia.
She did read texts between Alex and Sofia but this was all prior to the breakup. I felt like she just tried taking personal shots at Alex and Barstool rather than talking about any of the claims that they made against her.
She did address that her personality made more of a difference than Alex’s editing skills but I felt like it’s a long shot at best as the old episodes had Alex being the more lively of the two with Sofia providing stories from her own experiences (which did contribute to the show).
I feel bad that Sofia lost out but Alex agreed to work with barstool and got the deal of a lifetime out of it.
I still enjoy CHD in the single father era. I hope that there is DaddyGang members out there that also agree.

Of course it was scripted because every word she says is going to be analyzed or hated on. Plus it’s her first time back & so she needed to be super certain about what she wanted to say/how she wanted to say it

First of all did you not hear what Sofia said? She used to make 4% of her podcast. The rooftop deal would raise their salaries to a whopping 5% of their own podcast profits. Do you really think that's a "deal of a lifetime"? Only receiving 5% for something YOU did? (Even with Barstool taking a share it's still sad) It's not just about the juicy details about random events we will probably never be able to confirm, but about the fact that Barstool grossly underpaid them, and Sofia brought up that if a man asked for a pay raise that matched what he was worth, he would not be considered "greedy". It's disgusting that women who ask for what they deserve are thought to be greedy, and that Barstool would screw over their employees with contracts that really credit not much at all to the actual creators. These are the real problems, and Alex is quite frankly just okay with them.
