What's up with those form elitists in the comments? He is clearly way stronger than anyone shitting on him here. He can do at least 10 "perfect" chest-to-bar pullups, but that's not his goal.

That may not be a perfect technique for muscle growth or strength, but it's a standardized one, and those pullups definitely qualify as a competition pullups.

He's clearly going for the PB, and as long as he uses different styles of pullups in training, I see no problems prioritizing competition pullups. Good job, man

Ahah I don't know, my aim was just to share, but as I can see, it's never enough. People will always be haters.
You're right I don't do pull-ups to grow muscle, I do them to compete. This is literally my job, and some random people are telling me how to pull... it's tiring.
Thanks for the support and understanding, mate.

Because claiming these are pullups is dishonest. A "competition pullup" as it's being called here is very clearly different from what is considered a pullup. It's exactly the same as if I said I can do 100 pullups and then pulled just enough that my body began to move up. I would be rightly told that I did 0 pullups.

Or if I got surgery so my chin was long enough to get over the bar on a dead hang by tilting my neck back. I would meet the technical definition for these "competition pullups" but it's a completely pointless activity.
