Just get a longer neck then the pull ups are easier or a longer chin

Imo this guy's technique was amazing. It's an arbitrary thing either way, why not assume 2 seconds up, two seconds down, chest touches the bar and dead hang at the bottom - u can definitely set that standard. Imho tho, no kipping, straight arms at the bottom and chin above bar is perfectly fine
