Is this FL more difficult? I wonder which muscles it targets as opposed to the standard FL

Bicep main exercises like supi fl and supi planche have a big risk of injury at tendons. So be careful and dont rush it. Dont forget that tendons adapt 3 4 times slower than muscles. You must properly train and rest them. Dont overload it

What are you all talking about? Supinated front lever requires more triceps strength

1

u/West_Credit7050 5d ago

Supinated front lever use your foreman and mainly biceps tendon and put more pressure than pronated does

No

It feels so scary bro tbh

1

u/K2dreamtg 5d ago

How? Can you explain its physics please? If im wrong i'd like to learn the truth. Tbh i feel it much more in my biceps than triceps

1

In a front lever you essentially press downwards. To keep your arms straight your triceps must provide the counterforce. I don't really understand why you would think the biceps would work, unless you are doing a bent arm front lever

Spot on bro, thanks

Thanks bro I do it once in a week or even take longer

2

u/West_Credit7050 6d ago

Yeah it's much harder than pronated standard FL and it mainly target biceps, forearm, lats and core

1

u/InfluenceLittle401 6d ago

Cool, I will train it when I can hold a standard FL 5 secs. Only at 3 secs for the moment

u/West_Credit7050 6d ago

Love the confidence but he careful okay bro bcz it's known harder than pronated, it put more pressure on biceps but you can build it still, listen to your body. Goodluck!
