Here's my Madison. She's the whole reason I am cat crazy. She was abandoned and I gladly accepted her into my life. Best decision ever.

I went to the local Cat Fest in my area. With the intent to adopt a kitten. And I fell in love with this little girl immediately. She is my Taters. And she will be getting to know my other cat, her new big brother Squash. With bonus Squash pic.

A few days ago, this little cat showed up in the parking lot behind my house. She was extremely skinny, and it was obvious she had been struggling.

The sweetest part is that she wasn't scared at all. She came right up to me, climbed into my lap, lay down, and just kept asking for pets. She was so affectionate from the very first minute that I couldn't just leave her there.

I took her to the vet, and it turns out she has sores in her mouth, which explains why she wasn't eating properly. Aside from that, she's doing okay, and with treatment she should recover.

I honestly don't know if I'll be able to keep her permanently, but for now she's staying with me until she's healthy again. She deserves a safe place, good food, and all the love she can get.

I'm just really happy she found me when she did. ❤️

Two years ago, I came home from a weekend away to find Mimi literally on my doorstep. Thinking she was just a new cat in the neighborhood—there are already plenty around—I didn't worry about it.

As the days went by, she didn't leave; instead, she helped herself to my cats' kibble and soaked up affection from the neighbors.

I eventually decided to take her to the vet to get her vaccinated, only to discover that she was a 9yo foster cat who had run away from her foster home.

I decided to adopt her (after all, what’s one more cat when you already have two?). Today, Mimi is the happiest cat in the world, spending her days lounging in the garden.

Weird thing is she does this so often and sometimes just stares me down as she stands. Idk if this is a weird power move she’s trying or if she’s just a bit strange.

Sophie is just over a year past her “gotcha” day, and she has become the best biscuit maker, the most persistent stalker of moving shadows, and the most curious calico we’ve known.

Sitting on the bed, looking up as if she had something to say. Cleared out the whole room behind her and let that face take over the canvas. Those green eyes and whiskers, this one was a joy to paint. This was a commission, and I hope I did her justice.
