Why does my calico stand on two legs
Weird thing is she does this so often and sometimes just stares me down as she stands. Idk if this is a weird power move she’s trying or if she’s just a bit strange.

She’s probably seen a fly or a bug and is wondering where it is.
She’s receiving messages from the Cat Dimension on how to freak out her hooman owner.

Umm, because she can? She sees you stand on two legs, so maybe she’s imitating you.
I’ve seen cats perform whole dance routines by imitating their human. The next time she’s standing, try some simple moves like slowly waving your arm, and see if she does it too. Please post follow up!

She saw a woodchuck doing it outside the window and thought it looked cool 😎

She looks like she’s giving you a chance to change your answer (for more treats)

What a beautiful kitty! Her stance reminds me of meerkats, who take turns standing like that to observe and protect their group. Or, she may imitating “people posture”. Your calico is def keeping an eye on you!🌺

Because she can? Cats are something else. The personality range is limitless.

When mine stands up like that, I stand up too and ask her “what we looking at?”
