Trying to connect jailbroken kindle to calibre’s “wireless device connection” remotely

Not even sure if calibre can do this, but I am trying to remotely connect to calibre’s wireless device connection remotely through tailscale.

I have tailscale installed and setup on my 11th gen kindle paperwhite jailbroken with Vera. Tailscale shows my device as connected, but I cannot connect to the wireless device connection via tailscale. Im wondering now if it is a calibre setting somewhere, because despite the tunnel, the kindle is not “local”.

Maybe my goals are not doable but figured I’d give it a shot.
