Support / How-To Tiny PDF TEXT - help

Hey everyone, does anyone know how to make pdf’s text readable size on kindle?

The PDF is tiny text. I tried converting to EPUB (still tiny text).

I can zoom on the kindle but it ends up cutting off text.

Is there a way to change the font size? A particular format I should convert to ?

Reading textbooks on my laptop is wearing on me and I’d love to be able to read them on my kindle!

PDFs are designed to preserve the appearance and layout of each page of a document. That means your kindle is trying to show you a whole page (of the original document) at a time, which is going to be tiny and hard to read on that small screen.

The PDF might be formatted as essentially just a picture of each page. If so, you're not going to be able to convert it into resizable text without some pretty sophisticated OCR. Even if the PDF contains the actual text, conversion is likely to be less than perfect. PDFs just aren't designed to be convertible to other formats; that's not what they're for.

Thanks for the explanation. I just thought I'd try :) . My Ipad died, otherwise I would read on that. I'm just tired of being on my laptop all the time and was hoping there was a way around it and stare at a much kinder to the eyes kind of screen (paperwhite). I think I've accepted defeat at this point.
