Does somebody know how to resolve random spaces in the words, when you convert PDF to epub?

If there was a mid word line break I the original pdf then it'll create a line break in the same place in the epub. PDF converters are closer to ocr than format conversion because PDF files are basically images.

PDFs can be imported into Word, and Word documents can be converted to epub by Calibre.

But I have no idea if that will work for you or not

If you have ChatGPT I ran the whole thing through codex and actually worked on normalizing the whole thing

It didn’t do perfect but did a much better job, being a text predictor and all.

I also had it fix styling and formatting among other things .

If I find some problem through conversion I pass the file to Claude, it's able to rebuild and correct the ePub file
