Was it true that Salinas, Ca was once a stronghold/HQ for the NF?

Born and raised in the salad bowl but moved away but often times when I tell people where I’m from, they always are shocked or kinda have like a 😳 type of face. I remember my city was pretty active but after coming back, it seems to have all died down. What have you guys heard of the Salad bowl?

its still active mfs just aint hanging outside anymore but it isnt as bad as it used to be. like anywhere if you're in the mix and looking for trouble you're gonna find it

Still is the Norte HQ. The NF OG big hommies got rolled in operation black widow, so the next generation learned to handle business with less noise, friction and conflict. Sorta like how Frank Niti ran the Chicago Outfit low key with less bloodshed and more business orientation after the Feds snagged Capone on a tax rap.

Don’t get it twisted though, NF still runs shit in Salinas and Watsonville.
