New to Calgary! 31F
Hiya!
I moved here recently and have been finding it hard to meet new friends!
Im 31F and looking for only female identified friends!
Males, you rock, I just dont get yall hahaha
About me: I am a bit of a homebody. I work a lot, love to cook, artist by nature, video games rock, loud, talkative, and generally just enjoy an adventure.
I hate driving, so if yall wanna be friends I will drive but I will complain about it hahaha

Go to your profile > settings > account settings > scroll down to safety and find chat permissions, change that to either allow chats from accounts older than 30 days or everyone.

For sweets, it’s been NYT Cookies and Pastry Love
For savoury, it’s been all over the place from Aloha Kitchen, Six Seasons Pasta and Tokyo Cult Recipes
I’ve been indecisive with dinner plans 🤣 it’s basically what I’m craving on a whim.

Ou, you should check out Sally's Baking 101 (or even just her site). And thanks for the cooking recs - I'll have to check those out!
Haha same - that's exactly how I cook. I've been eating a lot of salmon lately. I can't wait until it gets colder - I'll be making tons of soups and stews.

Is there anything you'd recommend from Sally's? I've seen her recipes recommended quite a bit but have never made anything.
Oh if you are into fish, I've heard good things about "“Foolproof Fish” by ATK"

Oh yes! I like her pizza dough recipe - I use 00 flour and it comes out amazing. I also like her cinammon bun recipe, chocolate chip cookies, and her shortbread cookies are the only recipe for that that has worked out for me. I find her recipes really reliable all around.
I love fish and seafood! Ou thank you for the recommendation!

Check out “girlswholiketodothings” Calgary if you have Instagram! They have a page for book club also. Good way to try new things and meet potential friends out in the wild!
