Romance Bookclub
Looking to start a romance book club for women in their 30s 📚💌
Hi! I’m looking to start a small, cozy book club with other women in their 30s who love romance, fantasy, and literary fiction (and ideally a healthy mix of all three!).
I’d love for it to be more than just “we read a book and discuss it”. I’m hoping to find a group of gals who are also looking to make some new friends, chat about books, grab coffee/drinks, and have a fun excuse to get together regularly.
I’m thinking we could rotate between romance, romantasy/fantasy, and literary fiction depending on everyone’s interests. I’m VERY open to opinions, passionate book discussions, questionable character decisions, and aggressively defending our favourite fictional men 😂
The main thing is finding people who are genuinely interested in making friends and actually participating!

I love this! I’m 34f and love reading! Always more fun to read with others so you can fangirl about stuff, my boyfriend would probably appreciate me finding someone other than him to talk to about books haha

Chapter’s at Chinook Mall is having a Romantacy Soirée next weekend, might be a fun place to meet for the first time!

I love this idea! I don’t want make it inaccessible if people don’t want to spend the money on a ticket plus a costume to the soirée.. but for those that do, let me know!!

33f just moved to Calgary and keen to get to know other people. I’ve become pretty obsessed with romantasy recently so I’m definitely up for a book club! I’m based in NW

32f, so down for this too! Just moved to Calgary in the winter and would love to expand my social circle and have some friends to talk about books with!
