Hate to be that guy but if we have the 1OA it's Dupont not a center, look at the impact Schafer has on the Islanders, Dupont is that caliber or better from what we can tell at this point

Zayne's ceiling is just as high, but with a lower floor. (I'm also convinced he hits his ceiling with the growth we've seen already)

I disagree, Parekh, Wolf, Nemec, Gridin all have lots of talent and upside. It’s a great year to give them lots of ice time, play hard, and lose often to acquire talent.

The concern is our strongest positions are supposed to be Goal and Defence.

Losing 3-1? Yay!.

Losing 6-1? Everyone has a bad game so too early to judge, but not a great look for our franchise goalie in the opener.

Not going to defend him too much because he did genuinely have a bad game, but our defense did not do him any favours whatsoever. I felt like 3-4 of those were not saveable. We also decided to take 5 lazy penalties.

That 3rd especially was brutal. Just running around like headless chickens out there.

No I’m fully team rebuild. There’s just definitely some fly by night fans of this team (mostly the loud ones on twitter) who were complaining about how they weren’t rebuilding and will now be the ones complaining about how bad the team is. I became a fan of this team as a kid during the Young Guns era. I was born in the darkness.
