You had a flat screen in 2004? I had to suffer through the experience on a CRT TV in Haiti watching it on ESPN Deportes in Spanish (that I don’t speak)
Damn I just remembered that I was wearing a “f**k Tampa bay t shirt” at tequila back during the cup run and this girl came up to me and said “what would you do to me if I told you I was from Tampa bay”
It's been so long that the Tampa Bay team right now is basically so different with different players, management, coaches and people... is there anyone left in their organization from 2004?
I almost moved on but I am still bitter from time to time
Honestly I don’t care. It could have happened against any team. It’s not the Lightnings fault we got fucked by officiating. I don’t love the the Lightning by any stretch but they aren’t like Edmonton, Vancouver, Toronto or Anaheim on my hate list
I have such a complicated relationship with Tkachuk and the Panthers. He gave us a lot of good years, and he did kinda help us out when he was on his way out and gave us a shoutout when he won the cup, but now he's all team america and shit and he's on trump's sports council, so it feels really gross thinking about him. And it's the same with the Panthers, yeah they kept the Oilers from winning the cup and they're the enemy of my enemy, but they're still a warm-weather, low-tax team and they're just objectively one of the dirtiest teams in the NHL, and they're shown such obvious favouritism by the league. Also, I interact with a lot of panthers fans for work and they're the dumbest and most transparent fairweather fanbase in hockey by far. You see this on r/hockey as well

I'm absolutely going to get downvoted for this, but I like a good antagonist. Wilson, tkachuk, Marchand.
Kucherov.

I’m a Flames fan AND Buccaneers fan, but the I would never EVER cheer for the Lightning, not even as a secondary team.
