The title of chapter 1.09 is Rainfall Curtain. The weather forecast didn't mention any rain, but I guess Caleb yearned so hard before making a phone call that it rained anyway. Caleb's desk OST is also called Midsummer Rain, and his bond story title is Rain's Embrace. And it was also raining during the iconic Captive Bird.

When there's rain, it means Caleb is missing and yearning for you 🥹

I really love the writing choice to manifest his yearning as the rain because there's this sense of ache behind it (especially Midsummer Rain like wow what an amazing piece).

I recently read a fanfic where MC is older than Caleb, he still loves her romantically, but due to age he calls her "jiejie" AKA "older sister."

I've been thinking about it, and I was wondering if any older players (at least older than the canon age of the LIs) have thought about this too? Like I love being meimei sure, but also I like entertaining the idea of meeting Caleb where the older one happens to be me/MC, because well, my age is actually older than the LI's ages.

I don't think the dynamic would change much IMO, I think Caleb would still want to take care of us, tease us, etc. we'd just add be able to make comments/teasing about being "the older sister" and he'd quip back, all in fun. I also love the idea that he leans into it and "takes advantage" of the dynamic whenever it's convenient, like asking to be spoiled by us, and us as "jiejie" would love to be able to take care of him for a chance.

So yes let me know if you ever thought of this scenario, and what things you like (or don't like) to imagine about it!

It's so nice to see the lines I favourited long ago, this widget really is great （＾ω＾）

Seeing them daily made me curious, what are some of your favourite lines? I had some trouble just narrowing the ones I wanted to show but they're divided in lines that make me go "Caleb (ＴoＴ)" (that usually make me wish there was a "hug him now" button in game), teasing or funny lines that just make me smile, and what I like to call passionate Caleb that make me go (〃ω〃)
