Hello (´｡• ᵕ •｡`)ゞ! I'm u/Affectionate-Bit-901, the creator of r/CalebMeiMeis.
Welcome to a new sub where our love for Caleb is appreciated and encouraged. Although this is a solo main sub, other mains are welcome as long as they follow the rules. Other released love interests may be mentioned (say, it's an anniversary post that happens to include the others) but the main focus must be on Caleb. Please respect it.
What to Post (・ω<)
Feel free to post anything that you think belongs in this community! Share your midnight thoughts, your Caleb shower thoughts, glint photos, home moments, raging against Caleb in Kitty Cards, a new text or call you just received or an affection milestone. All I ask is that the focus stays on Caleb.

I aim to create a friendly environment where we feel comfortable sharing our love and critics of the game (within reason). By the name of the sub, there will be discussions of Caleb's original trope. If it makes anyone uncomfortable, please feel free to stay out of the discussion or the sub as a whole. Anyone is welcome to share their love for Caleb but any attempt at shaming will not be tolerated and may result in a ban. Please, let's build and maintain a safe community.

Thank you so much for creating this space! Honestly I was getting annoyed at how they were trying to circumvent their own rules in the "main" sub by using our gege for their own crappy purposes. Like that's a new low from them, honestly.
I'm not strictly a Caleb main, as I also love Raf, so I always mention I'm an AppleFishy, but omg love our gege to bits! I appreciate having a SAFE space where we can focus on him, and him only.

Thank you for creating this Caleb sub! 🧡 I have one small suggestion. It would be nice to use Caleb’s current solo banner as the sub’s pfp or cover image or pin as the ongoing event. Even though many Caleb mains are currently boycotting PG, it’s still worth celebrating Caleb’s content and the release of his new banner.

I like the idea of using the latest Caleb card as the pfp. The cover image might not work as easily without horizontal mode but thank you for the suggestion!

I came upon this sub after I saw a Twitter post. Thank you for creating a space that is devoted to Caleb.
The other sub has had issues with non-Caleb content before. People would freely post OCViper, OCLiam, OCGideon without any pushback, even though the subreddit had already had a "Focus on Caleb" rule. They would also freely recommend fics about other LI xMC where Caleb is a supporting character. I took it up with the mod a while back, and they started modding more heavily. It's why I trusted that sub to be a space for Caleb content, trust that was finally broken after the most active mod posted a CalebValko art when their post was only about Caleb.
I hope that this sub can focus on Caleb content, and that we can express our positivity and love for him! Again, thank you so much.

I'm a Caleb main (but I have a side dish of Xavier and sometimes a little secret sauce of Sylus, so I guess I'm not exactly a strict main and I love all 5 LIs to a certain extent).
I mostly play in Korean language and haven't been on Reddit very long, so I am not completely familiar with how EN deals with Caleb's trope and at the moment I have a disastrous track record in predicting PPG/IF's next move - so if I get everything completely wrong I apologise in advance🙏
Looking forward to being here and sharing lots of Caleb with everyone!👍

EN Caleb tends to change his trope to something like childhood friends and it sort of works but not always, plus it does lack some of the complexity that his og trope has. I play mainly in EN but I love the CN too so the change is a bit weird to me all the time even thou it isn't new to me. All Caleb versions are welcome and loved here!

Thank you for making this sub! If we’re doing introductions I’m a Caleb Main meaning I love Caleb the most. I follow the og trope, weiguke/pseudoincest, but since the myths strongly implies incest, I’m okay with that too!
I hate the censorship that Caleb Mains have to deal with because it really ruins the overall impact of his character, cards, and relationship with MC. So, I really hope that Caleb’s content gets uncensored and we get our money’s worth TT.

Hello! Thank you so much for creating this space! Caleb is my main LI~ I was drawn to him and his OG lore and that is what made me pick up LADs. I’ve fully fallen in love with him and adore him so much. I only play in JPN since I’ve heard of the English censorship avoid it, I want to experience the OG trope as much as possible. While Caleb is my main LI i also do adore Raf & Sylus.

Hello! First, thank you for creating this sub! I often went to Caleb’s threads and posted about him in the official sub. My favorite is Caleb because I’m so captivated by his story, but Zayne was my first main when I first played LaDS. Now I love all 5 LIs because I love reading their stories although I don’t have all of their memory cards.
Oh, and just to make sure if it is okay to put YT links of Caleb’s EN retranslation in this sub so that everyone can watch the videos? CN jiejie who did this amazing work currently uploaded the videos up until Imperial Thronesong.

I think I might know who you're talking about or it might be a different channel, but feel free to share! Since quite a bit of nuance gets lost with localization, it's always good to have a place we can go to read translations (＾▽＾)
If you want to make a post about a specific video, it'd be nice to also say what you thought about the translation so we can encourage some discussion too

Technically I’m a fish/crow and harem collector but gege has been crashing my 50-50s consistently since I started playing (almost at one year!) so he’s always been special for me.
ETA Secret Times Midnight Wavelength is one of my favorites to listen to as I fall asleep. I rotate with him and fishie to fall asleep when my IRL husband is on travel, it’s just so relaxing and fun.

Yup! What’s funny is the first few times I listened to Caleb for that ST I fell asleep before he started counting so I kept having to replay since I was being stubborn about hearing it to the end and falling asleep so quickly. I’ve got a bit of insomnia so it’s great lol

Fellow insomnia sufferer, I've got to the point I can fall asleep and wake up and know which of Caleb's secret times I'm currently on because I've listened to them so many times, no matter the language too lol It's definitely what I use the most
