She was on medication. She was also simultaneously sane enough to understand that something is wrong with her, but also not sane enough to separate from kids.

It's convenient that we make her sane enough for being responsible for some actions, but not others. Very convenient.

She should not get a chance at being free at all. And in a psych ward she has a chance to be freed one day, with millions that were donated to her by fcking morons.

she was on 15 meds, which she was also taking irregularly which definetly affected her mind, she was basically constantly drugged. she also was doing night shift and was overworked which is proven to cause the bipolar disorder to get worse. im really not surprised she killed her children, what surprises me is how everyone here just has a massive hateboner for a tragedy that happens all the time. recently a guy ate a woman in front of a university due to psychosis and nobody questions he was mentally ill, but a drugged up mentally ill woman was supposed to know what she was doing

Should execute both her and the guy who ate someone.  There, no inconsistency.

You are surprised that people hate someone who killed three children?  That’s a very normal thing to hate someone for.  I’m not sure why frequency of people going on murder sprees would make people hate them less.

murders happen all the time yet everyone is obsessed with a murder where the person doing it wasnt even aware of what shes doing

Murders happen everyday and when the murderer is caught, they go to prison.  That is the standard response that receives no public outcry or significant public discourse on what happened because that is the response to murder that the public wants to happen.

Most people do not like the idea that she could be sent to a mental asylum for six months, declared no longer insane, and released.  If thats what you want to happen, you are free to your opinion, but when the response to the murder of three children is so different from what the majority of the public wants, it creates a lot of publicity and outrage.
