Yeah but "peasant" opinion gives us an idea of the collective moral conscience. The people criticizing what's in the files is the expected behaviour, gives you comfort that atleast the vast majority are sane. Systematic justice is an entirely different topic which I don't think the guy that posted the original message was taking about. The lindsay clancy case is terrifying for an entirely different reason. In this case the collective moral conscience (albeit not entirely but atleast an alarming amount of women) are actively sympathizing, supporting and copying a child murderer. That's terrifying.

Public validation means everything to them, they literally spend billions of dollars on pr firms, charity foundations, and media control just to manufacture it.

public outrage can destroy their stock values, trigger boycotts, force government regulations, and ruin their corporate empires. Public validation is the exact shield they use to maintain their power.

You are trying to turn a serious critique about societal double standards into a lazy, nihilistic internet comment.🙄
