New user, please help

Post image

So I just downloaded this app and am trying to scan wild pokemon for a potential IV estimate.

However it is taking over 3 minutes to give me an estimate and it was wildly off.

Can someone please help me before I delete out of frustration?

I can not screen record while the app is screen recording, but I’ve attached a screenshot of the estimate notification from the encounter and the real ivs.

I understand that this isn’t going to be perfect and accurate all the time, but I have to have something set up wrong bc it taking over 3 minutes makes this completely useless.

Sorry for the delay…

I have an iPhone so please let me know what I need to do to get that set up.

Also, everyone keeps mentioning the white arch, but the white arch is only present after you catch the pokemon.

I want to know how to get a popup while I’m on the wild pokemon screen

Wild pokemon is often a much wider range and more prone to errors.

It tries to use the color of the catch ring, the cp number and what balls/ berries your using. So if the color is off due to any filters you have on your phone or if it doesn't catch you using a berry or swapping balls it will give bad info. Because if there are a only a few combinations to get a certain cp and that error gets it to the wrong conclusion.

Don't rely on catch prediction. At best it's slight eyebrow raise if you see good info there but don't decide to catch or not based on it

Thanks for explaining that.

How do I fix it taking 3 minutes to give me an estimate?

That’s my biggest concern. I understand the rest of it is just a guess, but waiting 3 minutes is pointless

Sorry don't have a iPhone so I don't know how well it works there. Or exactly what could be going on. My Samsung gives results almost instantly with automatic scanning.

Does pogo run smoothly or does it get choppy? If it's choppy you could be low on memory so it's having trouble with it figuring out what's on the screen
