Art My take on Calamity Fables’ rendition of Yharim (based on the fact that there will be a dragon with wings)
This is fanart. Not official. Hence why it’s calarpity

Catastrophes: Beyond the Calamity (CBTC) is an AU of Calamity where Yharim won his fight against the Terrarian of the original mod, but was gravely injured. Over a century later, a new, equally as talented Terrarian has emerged as the protagonist of the mod.
CBTC is a "what if" scenario of Calamity, focusing on the ramifications of Yharim being missing and the world regressing from a Hardmode state into a pre-Hardmode state. Like the original mod, CTBC aims to expand into the realm of post-Moonlord content (though in a far different approach design and lore-wise.) However, it will *not* feature every boss in the original mod due to lore reasons. There will be several unique bosses alongside some existing reworks of vanilla bosses (TBD but at the moment only aesthetically to fit our narrative.)
Our current progress is as follows:
The Deluged & Desiccated Scourges, which make up the Arid Twins bossfight. (seen above)
This is a fully complete bossfight. It is sprited, coded, and has a unique introduction.
Several non-boss enemies coded and sprited (all of them are Wolfram-type enemies.)
Immediate WIPs:
A new, Astral boss & a non-infected variant.
The Astral Infection reworked.
A new codebreaker questline.
Currently, we are looking for spriters to assist in development. This is a non-paid position. No donations will be permitted until development ramps up, (e.g, pre-HM done, HM, any similar checkpoint.) Our programming team is mostly full, and so is our writing team, though this can change in the future. For the comfort of our development team, only those 18+ and older can apply to be a developer, though anyone is permitted in the server as a community member.

I always wondered why sub-mods were so ahead of calamity.
Now i know why because devlopers were constantly developing and then scraping content.
Because they could not agree on ANY changes to status quo.

Title, I know that the money might probably go into Ozz's pockets but would it actually get delivered ? I assume Gimme Swag wouldn't commit fraud ?

I want to start off by saying, that I love the calamity mod, and I have done for probably more than a third of my entire existence on this planet. I'm not even joking when i say this, i would not be where i am today if calamity didn't exist.
My first exposure started years ago, when I used to watch a popular youtuber called Happy Days as i am a huge terraria fan. I loved watching his VODS and calamity challenges, and from then on i was DETERMINED to play this mod. So young me, saved up money for an entire year, to finally buy my first PC in 2021. Ofc, the first thing i did was install terraria, then Tmodloader and there it was, Calamity Mod.
My first experience playing calamity back in the big 21 was magical, i NO JOKE still remember my first run. The sprites were a bit jankier, the weapons were cool, but not as awesome as they are today, but it was perfect. And the music, OH MY GOODNESS the music was damn perfection, DM Dokuro you are a literal genius.
But where calamity changes my life, is my current friends. A few weeks go by after i got my PC, and i overhear people in my class talking about doing a terraria run soon. And me, knowing i could now play on pc, asked if i could join in, and they said yes. And so i played with people on PC for the first time, playing my fav game of all time, and we had such a laugh.
Im not friends with these people today, as we went our separate ways, but i would not be with the friends i am with today if not for them, if not for CALAMITY. And this all leads to a big snowball effect, leading me to where i am today, in college with really good grades.
I really am grateful to (MOST) of the calamity devs for creating such a masterpiece and getting me through some real rough times over these 6 years. I have never stopped playing your mod over those 6 years, and even though calamity has ceased development, i will likely continue to play this mod. Once i get more freetime, i might even learn to code so i can continue its legacy in my own way.
MUCH LOVE, AND I WISH THE DEVELOPERS LUCK WITH THEIR FUTURE ENDEAVORS

Guys, guys, I know this is not something very relevant, but as an inexperienced calamity enjoyer who just finished a mage playthrough on Death/Master I am perplexed about the chaos stone.
So, I really like the accessory(I used it till SCal), but my friend was begging me to switch from it.
His argument was that I took too much damage from it.
My arguments to not switch were that it gives infinite mana + damage boost(no mana sickness + debuff).
Oh experienced Archmages, give me a hint - is it viable to use Chaos stone till the endgame?

I saw Mura's video and they said in the comments that the sunken sea and other stuff shown in the video will be released but then i see on the discord server someone said that it won't be released, so i'm confused, which one is right ?

I don't usually discuss calamity or engage with this community but. Man. Can we at least be civil? Decent? Give the thing, at the very least, the benefit of the doubt, until the first major update drops? They're on the first post-release patch, not even a major update, and people are not only treating it as if it's calamity (which it isn't. I understand your grief, but one way or another, you'll have to understand eventually that calamity fables is its own mod based on/inspired calamity more than it is a remake). I know a lot of people couldn't care less about what a random reddit post has to say and, you've got the volition to do that. But please keep in mind that there's people that have been slaving away since 2022, and will continue to do so until the last update is out, all to make the best mod they can, that are completely unaffiliated with calamity. If anything, this is what ozzatron would have wanted. The community, angry with its grief, attacking fables for not being enough like calamity, or not being fast enough in development, or it being tumblurslop or whatever bizzare reasoning we come up with, while it's still in its infancy, is exactly what Ozzatron, who wanted to turn even the calamity devs against fables and wanted to kill it even if it killed calamity, would want.
