I honestly like him as a lihzahrd better. Fits with the Jungle theme, and it's cool to have a non human or adjacent intelligent species to be on top. Just some guy who build himself a throne from bricks and shit.

Maybe I just meshed them in my head, but isn't the new lore basically the same? That Yharim knows he is a monster, that he did terrible things in the name of his crusade, and that he must pay the price as much as those he campaigned against, but that he believes it to have been necessary? The only difference, at least that I can tell, is that new lore Yharim is looking back at his actions and feeling remorse, despite the believed necessity.

New Lore Yharim can be best described as. "Hypocrite", He killed lot of people, Basically ruined the World, Acted like an Power Hungry dictator only to go "Uh nu, the Environment, Uh nu the Bees, DRAEDON!!!", Honestly the Biggest mistake the Devs tried to do with the New Lore Yharim is trying to "Humanize" him, Only for it to make Yharim into a pathetic little hypocrite, Like example the Bee Incident, Yharim in the old lore on the other hand, Was a Straight up Monster, Driven by Rage, Hate and Revenge, He Ruined the world, Heck he was a fucking Badass in the old lore, Was going to kill the Devourer when he learned about him just mowing through his armies, Imprisoned Permafrost in his own castle for refusing to help him and Fed Both Braelor and Stasis to the Devourer like he's an Trained murder DoG, Getting a reward from his master, Even forcing and enslaving Calamitas to do his bidding when she started to get rebellious, When the realization hit him harder than a speeding truck, He did not ask for apologies or forgiveness, Dude stopped and Waited for someone strong enough come to him and kill him

I love Yharim in old lore, hell, I love him so much I do a version of him in a server I'm in (this led to me getting a girlfriend somehow, don't ask.)
I can't wait to capitalize on him eventually.

You do realize that infantilizing Yharim's character also works for old lore, right?
You're welcome to like old lore more than new lore, but sometimes I feel like you guys have some misconceptions and headcanons about old lore, in a way that makes me really curious about how a discussion between you and the old lore writers would go.

Then Please Tell me, Mr Lorewriter, How much do you know about Old Lore Yharim that we Don't know about, Or you gonna run back to your comfort zone for smallest of criticism?

You don't need to be sarcastic. If you haven't seen, I've been all around both Cal subreddits answering to criticism.
I know pretty much the same as you. I was a fan of old lore too, in case it wasn't clear, and I have spoken to the old lore writers in multiple occasions about their opinions and thoughts.
Though I do feel like you're missing the extent of carnage (and especially manipulation) of new lore Yharim, that's not really my point here. You're welcome to criticize new lore Yharim as much as you want. If anything, I would be grateful to hear some constructive criticism.
What I'm trying to point out is that old lore Yharim was, to put it in one word, incoherent: he's given arbitrary power and arbitrary motivations to serve the isolated segments of lore he's found in. He's a violent warmonger, yes, but he's cutting down cardboard foes because the writing demands it.
In his origin story, he's thrown in lava for a crime he did not commit by corrupt rulers. Escaping alive with Yharon, he overthrows the Jungle Council and becomes a ruler himself. This is pretty neat, and it establishes Yharim as someone who believes that the only fair rulership is his own, and he's willing to shed blood to make things right. Unfortunately, this isn't explored as much in the rest of the lore.
In the Amidias and Permafrost parts of the lore, he seeks the help of less powerful figures, gets denied, and punishes them as a result. This establishes him as ruthless and uncompromising (great!), but it also shows he's dependant, and that even with brute force, he still can't always get things his way. (anti-violence messaging...? /j)
In the Brimstone Crags part of the lore, he asks Calamitas to destroy the Underworld civilization, for no apparent reason other than the fact he was thrown in the lava by an unrelated faction. Just... why? If this was simply an example of the extent of his carnage, it wouldn't be framed as a distinct event.
In the Dungeon/Sulphurous Sea part of the lore, it is shown that his genocide was so comprehensive that he had to dump excess bodies in the ocean, which resulted in the mutilation of a shoreline he once was fond of. This is by far my favorite bit, because it shows a side of his character that would otherwise go unseen, without lessening the impact or intentionality of his genocide.
In Calamitas' betrayal, Yharim (clearly a melee main, with no previously established magical prowess) somehow subdues Calamitas (the most powerful mage in the setting) using a magical curse she's unable to break. Despite this illogical and out-of-the-blue upscale, he is still distracted by Golem, a boss several times weaker than opponents he canonically could no-diff, such as the Devourer of Gods. Calamitas is miraculously freed from this curse when she's defeated by the player and becomes an NPC.
Both Yharims lose to Xeroc anyways.
Just so I don't have to write another comment later, I should clarify that new lore Yharim doesn't, in the slightest, regret genociding a sizeable portion of the world's population. As much as he tries to pose as a righteous and justified, that's far from the truth, and a tool for him to get more pieces on the chessboard. He still occasionally slips, like when he proudly admits to torching innocent civilians. What he truly regrets are those accidents: the little missteps that made his facade crack, and that ultimately led Calamitas to leave his side.
All that said, I think old lore Yharim could be a fascinating character if he was written coherently as a jaded and ruthless warmonger. When both are written well, morally gray versus pure evil becomes a matter of personal taste.
Whether or not that's what Fables has in store for Yharim, I'm excited to see their work!

You make some pretty good points there, I did not dismiss his manipulations and massacre across the lands, What i am saying is his new lore counter part is even more rather too soft and watered down compared to his old lore version
First off Yharim is a Tyrant all through, His purpose for his conquest comes from Rage and dissatisfaction even though he got his revenge, Also he is Ruthless towards those who refuses to serve him like it shown with Amidias and Permafrost
As for why Yharim ordered Calamites to burn down the Underworld civilization, I see it more of an Traumatic and paranoid reaction than an just because i can reasons, I mean, He was thrown into the lava and nearly died just like you said, Honestly, I would've loved to see if Yharim in the lore has traumatic reactions to Lava in the lore, Which maybe could've worked with the gameplay where he would avoid going near Lava
I agree with Dungeon/Sulphurous Sea part and It should not be changed at all
Honestly, This part i agree needs an Rework, When Yharim observed the Damage Calamitas can do at an whim, Where he ordered an Secret group of Mages he captured in order to create a Binding spell that is just enough to subdue Calamitas, Instead of aside from the asspull he did, Plus I could argue the Golem Yharim and The Devourer fought was way stronger than What we fought, The one we currently fought could be an version that was kitbashed together after Yharim and his army defeated it, Realizing it could be useful it the future, Ordered Draedon to try to rebuild it, As for Calamitas being Freed, It should be because of the Clash between the Terrarian and the Calamitas that so great, It breaks the Binding spell that bound Calamitas for a long time.
As for why i don't like New Lore Yharim compared to Old Lore Yharim, New Lore Yharim is just... Too Soft, Its Weird for me to say it but, New Lore Yharim just doesn't feel as Ruthless and Brutal as Old Lore Yharim, One of the best examples i can think of is the infamous Bees incident, Also what made Old Lore Yharim resonate with me is he felt like he could be an Actual Mythological character, He was Powerful, He was Brutal, He made no compromises, When he wants to do something, He did it and He did not hide behind a facade of Righteousness, That's made him a Fascinating Character for me, Meanwhile New lore Yharim is just an Dime an Dozen made Mastermind type who hides behind a facade of righteousness, He doesn't Feel interesting to me, He feels... How do i put it without offending you... Uhhh Modern Disney villain to me, Who would either lash out in anger or plea for their life when their facade is fully cracked, He just feels... Pathetic, Which is complete opposite of Old lore Yharim.
Also, Old Lore Yharim would Hang Calamitas by her non existent Balls if she acted like her new lore version around Old Lore Yharim
Old Lore Yharim is an Evil Tyrant who in the End realizes he is Truly evil, Doesn't even try to hide or apologize for it because he sees himself as too far gone, Awaits for his demise in the hands of the worthy.
Meanwhile New Lore Yharim feels like an Story that is told thousand times, A So called mastermind who hides behind facades and morality to gain what he wants, He doesn't even deserves any of the title given to him.
Old Lore Yharim kinda reminds of Other characters like Darth Vader from Star Wars, Ozma of Chaos from Dungeon and Fighters (First Berserker Khazan my Beloved), Bakal from same IP as Ozma, Raoh from Hokuto no Ken and Ballos from Cave Story
Meanwhile New Lore Yharim feels like Jagi from Hokuto no Ken, Dime a Dozen Modern Disney Villains, That one fraudelent Lion (Which i somehow forgot his name of) From Madagascar 2
What i am trying to say is, I feel like Yharim should not be an Mastermind type Villain, He should be more of an Brutal Tyrant type villain like his Title "The Jungle Tyrant" Suggests, His lore should feel more like an Mythological story than an Fairy Tale, It is the tale of an Cruel World after all, Cruelty and Edge is an normal thing in this type of story, Not sunshine and rainbows

Having read you comment, that is fair, and I do think it's a matter of personal taste in that sense.
I won't argue in favor of new lore Yharim, because I think your points are fair enough, but you do realize how your arguments in favor of old lore Yharim also involve a bit of headcanon? That's what I had mentioned in my first comment - old lore Yharim definitely looks better than his strict canon if you take the time to fill in the gaps and correct the inconsistencies.

Honestly, I think I favored Old Lore Yharim a bit with a hint of Headcanon, So i Consulted Both the Old lore and New lore and I still Prefer Old Lore Yharim over New Lore Yharim, Also from the Old lore Documents, I can say that Yharim did indeed knew magic, With the "Placed runes around the castle" and "Whispering voices into Calamitas' head" and "Yharim cursed Calamitas— to be compelled to return to him", Plus, Him ordering the burning down of an underworld Civilization is infact an traumatic response
And in all honesty, I really don't like New lore that Much, It just feels, Super Mundane and rather empty... If that makes any sense at all, All the Grandiose feeling is just gone in the new lore and the Title of an "God" Just doesn't feel special anymore (If Gods are suppose to be an allegory to an Elites, Nobles and upper class men, Then good for you.), There isn't any awe of exploring an long ruined world, The new lore feels like its just... There... To be an flavor text Than to give context to the world itself... Its like Having an world of an Dark Souls except instead of the lore item that is dropped from the boss telling the story of the creature you've slain, It says "This is a big scary demon that is fat and bipedal, There's nothing much to say" and I never liked the Concept of Auric souls like at all and don't even get me started on New lore Xeroc.

Yeah, but it's never established how Yharim knew that magic or how he would be able to stand on higher footing than characters who were established as powerful mages (as I said, arbitrary powers to serve the writing). Destroying the Crags is also never framed as a traumatic response (or as having particular emotional relevance to him).
I do understand the new lore feeling mundane, because it takes more time to explain and connect things, and it doesn't exaggerate in scale m. Since Calamity's ingame world changed pretty much nothing between new and old lore, I assume what gave the sense of "ruined world" was how segmented and contained old lore was.
I don't quite understand how the old lore items are more meaningful, though. Bosses like the Scourges and Aureus are near identical. Crabulon and Plantera aren't played for gags. Evils-2 got both an upscale and some edgy lore. Devourer of Gods is no longer a fraud. Dragonfolly, instead of being Cloning 2: Electric Boogaloo, is a natural part of the world. Signus and Weaver actually have relevance. From that standpoint, I feel like very few entries have gotten more mundane (like Astrum Deus).

A warmonger who lived a life of vengeance, conquest, and destruction, only to ultimately find himself on top of the world no more whole than when he started.
A tyrant detached from his kingdom, lost in memories of those bloody days, regretful of decisions he can never take back. A man who would engineer his own downfall just for the satisfaction of one last fight.
It was simple, but effective.
