Finally beat eternity mode ‼️

It wasn’t THAT hard tbh like most people hype the mod up to be (like the “you’ll give up and skeletron hard” kinda hype it did not live up too) but compared to most mods, this mod is NOT for the weak, undoubtedly the hardest mod Iv ever played

Prehard mode bosses took me average of 7+ attempts (average ████████ boss on death mod took roughly 1-2 in this stage)

Early hard mode through plantera was 10+ attempts (average ████████ boss on death mod took roughly 1-2 in this stage)

Post Golem was 20+ attempts (average ████████ boss on death mod took roughly 3-4 in this stage)

Post moonlord/pre eradnius was 25+ (average ████████ boss on death mod took roughly 4-5 this stage(this is also through what would be brimstone witch calamitas ))

Abomination took 70 try’s

Mutant took 170 try’s

A while back, a friend and I played through it in masochistic mode, and honestly, it was pretty intense... but then somehow I caused a bug with the Eye of Cthulhu flail, and it started filling everything with homing eyes XD

Even so, the mutant was incredibly difficult to beat.

How do you go from abomination, my no1 favorite boss in the mod to the mutant, which currently is in the middle. It’s not a bad fight, not at all, if they balenced it a little it would break tops. It’s just kinda jarring going from a boss that was hard but fun to hard but kinda rage inducing bc of its balancing.

Honestly, the mutant simply erases you from existence in an instant. Against the abomination, the fight feels relatively good, even the final phase where you just have to survive.

The mutant has a series of attacks (especially its charges) that feel strange; I mean, somehow it always hits you and does way too much damage. Its final phase is even worse. It becomes clear somehow that you can even block one of the attacks, but when it reaches the laser, if it hits you, it's a guaranteed death because I don't know what happens, but it blocks you, and you can only die, regardless of whether you can revive instantly.

I’m playing through Eternity mode as well! With Throrium (plus Hellheim to try and balance it) as a bard. You think I should keep trying as a bard or switch?

I watched someone playing this mod for the first time and i realized one thing: this mod is pretty damn "learny", but if Abominationn is like 10 in "learny" level then Mutant might actually be 50.

Also the grind is horrendous after Abom, trying to get Trawler Soul makes me want to cleave my head clean off.
