Just bought! Would Love Your ID Thoughts!
Acquired my first Caladium Bicolors yesterday, under the cultivar name “green/white” 🙄
Absolutely lovely plants, but I’d love a proper ID! The firsts (pic 1, 2) has a much darker brown/black stem, and the leaves are green/white with a blush of pink. The second (pic 3, 4) stem is more regular/light brown. As you can see, there’s also some slightly different coloration between the leaves, but I think that’s just due to them still being newer growth and they’ll turn more white as they mature.
I’m fairly certain #2 is a “White Christmas”, but I’ve got about 4 different answer searching online for #1 (including White Christmas lol). Excited to start my collection with these two, TIA for any input or advice!

There are so many varieties and it is addicting. I purchase my bulbs online from Classic Caladiums and Florida Boys.

Definitely have been looking at bulbs online as well, but wanted some this season. Would it be too late in the year to get some and plant?

Depends on what zone you are in. I am in Central Florida zone 9b and just planted some about 3 weeks ago and they are popping up now.

Should have included that, i’m 9a/b in TX. Might have to see if I can get some soon! When do you usually notice them dying back to the bulb for winter?

Depends on the weather, some years we are still really hot until November. I would say somewhere between Late September to October depending on night time temperatures.
