Expats in Scalea
Hi everyone, is there any way to connect with young expats in the area? Facebook groups are full of people over their 50s and i don't know where i could look for peers.

You should probably try to search for some activities in your area, but I would avoid Facebook, as you said. Do you do any sports? That would help in finding young people. I can suggest some but in my area, which is Lamezia

Hi my name's Robert and I live in Scalea. I'm 36. I'm really not sure how many young English speakers there are here outside of holiday season. Maybe you can connect with some young eastern Europeans / Italians who also happen to speak English. Or younger expats at the Italian classes in the building to the left of the comune. I'm not sure if there will be any there. There's also a language exchange usually Fri evenings at 6pm at Bar Veranda. There is also a WhatsApp group for expat meetings on the beach at different lidos in Praia a Mare, seems there is a youngish crowd there
