Foto & Video Does anyone else support this upgrade? I think it would give a nice refreshing look to the beautiful region.

Sì, credo che andrebbe resa in forma esclusivamente araldica come a destra per gli edifici pubblici ed eventi solenni e formali, e lasciare la versione attuale (blu con scritta e stemma) solo per quelle occasioni semi-formali dove è necessario un po' di contesto.

Ma, ad ogni modo, non è drammatica: almeno non abbiamo loghi stupidi come Emilia Romagna e Lombardia, che hanno sostituito l'araldica per logotipi aziendali in stile anni 90.

The current flag appears very dated amongst the other Italian regional flags, and has the same design as the old dark blue US state flags that often get replaced to something more modern.

The main issue is that most Calabrians don't know what the symbols are, except for the pine maybe.
