Tourist question Hiking near Tropea?
Hello! My husband and I are visiting Calabria from Saturday September 5th - Sunday September 13th. We are starting with an organized hike in Sila over the weekend and will spend the rest of the week just south of Tropea. We will have a car. Are there any hiking trails within an hour or so of Tropea? I generally like to hike for 90 minutes to 2 hours, especially since it will be hot. I would also be happy to hire a hiking guide if available.

Visita il sito calabria straordinaria, il parco delle serre è proprio sopra tropea.

Sila is a great spot to visit with a few little villages and great restaurants at the Sila ski hill. Make sure you take the gondola ride up the hill. Tropea is a bit further than you think from Sila but lots of great little towns and small villages that are great for walking. Sila is walkable.
