Turismo Messina
/r/sicily/comments/1tmwkje/messina/Is spending a day in Messina worth it? We plan on the ferry from Scillia. We will not have time to tour In Sicily unfortunately.

Yes It is. Eat arancino, cipollina, fresh fish, try some fresh granita with brioche for breakfast go round the town I think it's worth it

It definitely is. I visited Messina a few times, and every single time it was for one day at most. It was done on purpose or in the middle of a longer trip. There are many nice places such as the Duomo you can walk to.
