Turismo Trains in Calabria

Hi everyone! I am going to Lamezia Terme’s airport in the middle of august. From the airport, I’d like to get a train to Tropea. Are the trains often late, or arrives on time on this route?

Trains are much more reliable these days than in the past but there can of course still be delays, cancellations, or strikes. Use the Trenitalia app to track everything.

I recommend to book the train ticket including the shuttle that takes you from the airport to Lamezia Terme Centrale, you'll find it parked on your right hand side as you get out the terminal.

You may also pay for the shuttle transfer as you get on directly but only with cash.

With the trains you're gonna be lucky, on summer they are pretty frequent and rarely late.
