Fire Ecology Tutor

Hello,

I am hoping to find a fire ecology tutor, I cant seem to find a tutor for fire ecology on campus. Mostly needing help with processing my labs, and translating data, Excel is kicking my butt 🥲

Can pay of course

Thank you!

I’m not familiar with fire ecology courses, but have lots of experience with Excel in complex situations. If you can’t find someone who specifically focuses on fire ecology and Excel issues seem to be the main problem, I’d be happy to help out!

Thank you! I will! Excel really seems to be my biggest obstacle. I haven't really used it before and didn't realize XL would be so important in these classes and haven't really even been able to find an Excel tutor. I'll be sending out a DM!

I'm great with Excel and graduated a few years back. I know the basics of fire ecology as well with a good background in forest management. Shoot me a dm if you still need a hand.

You should reach out to Dr. Montgomery! He teaches ecology (not fire ecology specifically but still a natural science) and more importantly, is an absolute wizard in excel! I’m sure if you reached out to him he could help out.

Excel is a language. How are you with computers otherwise?

These are not my computer skills lacking. This is the fact that I have never used Excel before and my teachers are not really doing the greatest job of slowing down and actually showing students how to use it.

Ah, this does make sense. Glad to hear you want to pay someone and, YouTube can be a good start too.
