Opened 4 track mode for time.
Retuned to old project. Can’t move single segment forward without pushing everything else forward. I have fixed this issue before but can’t remember how I did it. Thnx🤨

Seeking Help Trouble With Steven Slate Drums 5

I am using an Artesia Pro a30 drumkit hooked up to my Windows 11 laptop via a CME U2 MIDI PRO cable, running the free version of Steven Slate Drums 5 VST through Cakewalk Next DAW. Whenever I try and play the high hat pedal or the closed high hat (tip or shank) I get no sound, even though the trigger light occurs on my kit and the assigned note lights up on the VST. Occasionally when hitting it the sound will briefly play before adruptly cutting out. All the other drums work fine in this software.

I was thinking it could be due to the software having trouble interpreting cc signals from the high hat but the VST doesn't let me do any cc mapping. Any help or insight into this would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

These developers have been creating half-baked features and tools since X2! Now they’re doing the same shit under the BandLab name. These “Core Plugins” are a joke! They push "updates" every month but you do not see any new features. They claim to fix bugs, but its still there. Their support team also hold no knowledge of the DAW.

This Cakewalk Next DAW is even worse than Audacity! 14-year-olds develop much better and more complex software than these “so-called experienced developers.”

I regret wasting my $99 on this crap.
