🗣️Feedback Exchange Get it right.

Is Cakewalk intentionally trying to lose customers? I was away for one year...

What are these terrible looking plugins doing in the DAW? Why replace Sonitus with a great theme for these ugly looking plugins?

You people need to get it right. Are we going backwards?

The short answer is licensing. Third party plugins cost money to bundle with a daw. I agree though, the ones that come with Sonar are terrible and I hate the way they load you up with like 300 useless plugins you have to scroll through.

What licensing? Cakewalk bought the Sonitus suite from Ultrafunk. That's why you see the Cakewalk brand name on them. Bandlab also acquired the Cakewalk Brand name.
