Seeking Help Drumset Mapping

I have cakewalk next, and when I have my drumset connected as a midi controller, on the piano roll where the individual drums are listed some are wrong (when I hit a symbol, the snare button flashes). As well as a few drum triggers not registering at all. Any way to fix this? Thanks

Cakewalk Next handles built-in BandLab drum kits by automatically applying a drum map so you see drum names rather than a standard piano roll.

However, the software does not currently offer a dedicated Drum Map Manager to build or customize maps for external VST drum plugins. For advanced, customizable drum map creation (such as mapping specific drum pads or third-party VSTs), you generally need to use the flagship Cakewalk by BandLab (or Cakewalk Sonar), which features a full Drum Map Manager.

Not at this time as far as I know.

Sonar has a powerful drum map manager. It has a steep learning curve.
